What’s to love about Clayton Park? The people, the places, the amenities - lots!
Let’s take a tour:
#1. Halifax West High School serves students from Grades 10-12 in French and English and offers the International Baccalaureate, a program that “aims to develop inquiring, knowledgeable and caring young people who help to create a better and more peaceful world through intercultural understanding and respect.”
Built in 2002, this LEED certified building is home to the Bella Rose Arts Centre, serving both the school and surrounding community. For families with high school-age children, HWHS presents an excellent public education option.
#2. 8 Reed Court: Speaking of high school students, this 5-bedroom home is perfect for a growing family. Schools, library, shopping, Canada Games Centre - everything you need is all around you at 8 Reed Court. Contact RDR’s Jane Reno or Pam Auld to arrange a private viewing:

#4. Keshen Goodman Public Library: Another fabulous community hub, this library won a 2002 Lieutenant-Governor’s Design Award in Architecture, and houses over 1,000 titles. Chock full of IT resources, the facility hosts a variety of public programs and offers room rentals. And there’s a sweet little cafe with a cozy fireplace too. Bring the kids to Storytime and have a coffee while you’re there!
#5. 767 Parkland Drive: A quick drive (or walk!) from the Keshen Goodman Library and Canada Games Centre, this 3-bedroom spacious Condo is perfect for the family or couple who would rather spend more time enjoying all Clayton Park has to offer and less time mowing or shovelling. Contact RDR’s Jules Chamberlain to find out how you can become a part of the Clayton Park Lifestyle: 902.817.6007, email@example.com
#6. Redwood Grill: A Clayton Park institution! The Redwood offers a varied menu of dishes made from fresh ingredients. Tucked into the main floor of the Halifax Future Inn, the restaurant is adjacent to the hotel lounge, which offers the option of a light nosh or cocktail in a casual setting.
#8. WestSide Beer Wine Spirits calls itself Atlantic Canada’s largest private wine, beer & spirits store. Not far from Zen and right beside the Clayton Park Sobeys, it’s a convenient stop after you’ve picked up your groceries. They even have a growler bar!
#9. Janet Doble Pottery Studio: Gasp! Clayton Park has an award-winning ceramicist living in our midst! Red Door Realty loves the arts and we especially love supporting local artists. Find out more about this NSCAD graduate’s life and work here.
