In 2010, Maura re-established herself in Halifax and ventured into the exciting field of real estate after a twenty-three year career in the airline industry in both Halifax and Vancouver. Her many years of experience in customer care combined with her love of Halifax made her a perfect fit for the industry. Maura has an honest, reliable approach and the ability to put clients at ease. She is direct and able to hone in on individual needs. Her knowledge of local neighbourhoods and school is an asset to those looking to buy or sell. Raised in Halifax, Maura graduated from Dalhousie with a degree in French. She also earned a FNF at Laval, Quebec City as well as earned a TESL diploma from SMU. She finds time to actively give back to her community. She spent a lot of time volunteering with her local PTA, put in 15 years of door to door fundraising for the Cancer Society, and volunteered many hours for Provincial Hockey and Lacrosse teams. She spent the past 2yrs as Vice Chair of the board for A Home For Everyone – a society initiative that raises funds by helping under-housed families in our community achieve sustainable home ownership. In addition to all of the above, Maura loves to travel and keep active through golf, hiking, cycling and skiing. She especially loves to socialize with her beloved family and friends.
