Real estate is truly in Eric’s blood, as his father retired from a successful real estate appraisal business, and his grandfather built a successful brokerage firm during his career. He is proud to carry on the family tradition of professional and exceptional customer service.
Eric completed his BA from Dalhousie University as a visiting student at the University of Toronto. His passion for his summer job as a bicycling and sea-kayaking tour guide took him on many adventures serving small groups of discerning travelers on extraordinary active holidays. Travels in Mexico, Europe, and most corners of Atlantic Canada instilled a passion for travel and a great appreciation for home on the South Shore.
Eric’s interests in fitness and recreation led to four years as the recreation director at one of Nova Scotia’s favorite resort hotels, a marathon finish, and more recently, to the middle-of-the-pack in several Triathlon Nova Scotia events. Eric now lives in beautiful Clearland, near Mahone Bay, with his wife, Marla Benton, and their daughter Juniper.
